My Memories.. The Way It Should Be Kept + A Giveaway

Sorry for the lack of update. I know, shouldn't be apologizing but I think it is a polite thing to do. :p

I have been giving myself excuses... takpe lambat update blog.. yadda yadda but now.. it's been 3 months since my last post. I am going to write you a post, going to pay my dues of what I want to share, today!

Today (specifically 3 months ago), I want to share with you about My Memories. I believe it needs no introduction that I am a (not so avid) scrapper, and I've always been fascinated by everything digital and paper scrapbooking. So when Liz (of My Memories) emailed me about her scrapbooking software, plus all the benefits, what more could I ask?

I could go on writing about the benefits of this software but let us skip that part. You love our digital layouts and have been wanting to try it but you don't know how to use photoshop (or any other photo editing software) right?

You must be wondering how we do those layers of photos and pictures and where do we get those images. I get those questions a lot from my friends too. Worry no more because with My Memories suite, all you have to do is download the software and there are tonnes of pre installed images (embellishments, backgrounds and templates) - or kits for you to play with. And there are also ready made layouts for easy and quick layouts. Hey there, how's your Monday so far? It's been a FUN-tastic week, a super long holiday here in Malaysia because we are celebrating Raya and also 54th National Day!

It's also a very busy month for me and I'm way overdue of several things including a giveaway and my raya greeting cards entries. I'll try to finish uploading all greeting cards by tomorrow and then I'll post the giveaway!

Seeing Red ... Anyone?

Hye you all. Just a quick submission for CASE Study Challenge #49. Below is the inspiration from Dawn Woleslagle for this week's challenge.

For whatever reasons I myself don't know, I made this card - all red and white with a touch of pink.

It is so simple that I spent less than 30 minutes to make this card, but days to think of what color and resemblance of it. Came to think of it, maybe mojo took a short vacation :)

The holy month of Ramadhan is approaching and I don't know whether I have time to scrap the whole next month, and the month after.

My New 'Gadgets' wink

Hey ya all! How's your week going so far?

You remember when I said that I spent the whole last week lazying around? Well not so lah. I did indulge in what I prefer to call as 'retail theraphy', bukan habiskan duit ok. More like investing lah, kalau my other half tanya. Investing coz maybe who knows later ade orang minat nak suruh I scrapkan layout untuk dia ke, buat album ke whatsover.

Noo.. tak pernah lagi ade orang minat. So syyhhh *eye rolled*

Back to the story. This is just like you MacBook users who have been drooling on OS X Lion, but me with my new gadgets of.... stitch piercer and button maker. :D Ordered them last week and got it today, thanks to Scrappin Studio. They are the one bringing Studio Calico's kits in Malaysia :)

My Sew Easy Stitch Piercer

This set comes with a piercer mat (really thick form), a handle and 2 types of piercer. Very easy to use and there are tonnes of tutorial videos on youtube for you to check out.

First try on both types of piercer. Can you see how neat and well-aligned those are? Cute kan? This patterned paper is thick ok. Next on my wishlist is their floss, which is quite expensive compared to the one I use for sewing felt.

My Epiphany Craft's Tool Button Maker

This is a button maker. My original target is to buy a brad maker (croc-o-dile tool perhaps) but ... Well I bought this set and 2 packs of buttons. And the result..

Taraaaaaaaa. I use paper from the free paper pad I got from papercraf magazine. Cute jugak.

Should I put a tutorial here? VC? :)

Anyway I am looking forward for this weekend because of the list of things I wanna do is quite loooong. (Actually no reason, just wanna play with my new gadgets).

The KL Bazaar @ SohoKL Solaris Mont Kiara

Aaaaa.... I've been missing for months here. So sorry but work and family comes first. :p Iyelah sangat. Sudah sangat lama tak berscrapping. Ape lagi shopping papers.

The reason I wrote a new entry is to share what I did at KL Bazaar today. It started this morning when one of the latest status update, informing they will be at this event to be held in Solaris. I was kinda like.. jauhnye.. nak masuk highway utara selatan tu. Tapi gigih juga nak pergi, plus DH knows how to get there.

Being a first timer in Hartamas/ Dutamas area, we drove to the wrong solaris. We went to Solaris Dutamas but the event was held in Mont Kiara. OMG, the moment we arrived I was jumping and screaming (in my head only) because they sell really good stuff there. I mean, good stuff combined with good price = $$$ gone. :p

I went overboard at my first stop - the love and craft booth. Bought fabrics n wooden buttons n felt accessories. Wooden buttons yang sangat cantik! The man whom I forgot his name told me to email him and get patterns for my purchase. Later to another craft shop selling pupurin kit and girls dresses. Lucky me that my youngest is a boy. But that pupurin kit is soooo cute! You could check them out here. There are lots of booths selling everything from maxi dresses, bags, handmade items and yes - macaroons! First time at Mont Kiara is also the first time I get to taste macaroons. Kesian kan orang lain dah bertahun-tahun rasa. And I love macaroons, rasa macam kuih bangkit with fillings in between! Will order more from Jaja since her price is reasonable - RM2.50 for each macaroon. And I also bought handmade organizer from notbook - botbuk (with designer fabric as cover) and 2 journals for the kids. Sangat puas hati! SANGAT!

We had our lunch at Meatworks. Tasty sumptuous bbq ribs and steak for the kids. Price reasonable and the food was great. I love the ambience of the restaurant. Very cozy. And my fav virgin pina colada was a blast! Will return here for good food some other time soon!

The First Two Layouts In 2011

Fliffy shares a link via her facebook account that immediately catches my attention. It's a layout template freebie from Thaty Borges. Without hesitation I downloaded it and within a day, I made these two digital layouts with the help from Shabby Princess Designs kits. Good for a start for I need more than this to start scrapping again after 4 months :).

I hope my friend will love these layouts as I love creating them. She have two beautiful boys, Amjad and Wafiy and I do think that these boys are the cutest!

You see, I always have this problem of 'mix and match' -ing my layouts. I will use only one theme for one layout, digital or not. I am afraid of me choosing the wrong combination of embellishment - papers - pictures etc. Susah sangat tau. Jealous kat orang yang reti mix n match ikut suka tapi menjadi!

That is why I always opt for using the same theme for each and every layout I made. But with Studio Calico kits, the items are carefully selected and coordinated, memang senang nak buat layout or whatever altered arts you wanna do. Besides monthly kits, they also offers add on kits yang sangat cantik belaka *droll lagi*.

I've abandoned my scrapping corner for almost 5 months. Seriously I couldn't find time to scrap with Fahim around and my heavy workload didn't help out either. Plus the tight budget. *sigh*

For this swap, I am required to make 5 envelopes to 3 partners using pretty papers. I searched high and low for suitable papers to be turned into envelopes and finally found some very nice patterned papers and decorative papers.

2 sugar papers, 2 patterned papers and 3 decorative papers, all in one size.

But personally I love this one

Can you imagine all these tickets on one envelope? Jeeez :) I hope my partners will love them all!

CASE Study Challenge #2

Hello all.

You probably have read that I bought a few set of stamps and a border punch set in my previous post. I don't really have time playing with them since I am quite occupied with house chores, but tonight was the night that I could sit down and start scrapping.

Since I missed the first Case Study Challenge, I've decided that I will participate in the second one. This week Makiko Jones came up with a very pretty card and we will have to create a paper crafting project based on her card.

I took a great deal of time to make this card below. Gosh I now realized I haven't been scrapping that much since the early month of Ramadan. I also have to wait until my lil one sleeps so that I could scrap hassle-free. :)

It is a very beautiful Tuesday here in Putrajaya. So how's your day? I hope everything went well for you. I am happy today. I received good ratings at swap-bot and I collected my purchases at SnC on Sunday. I am a proud owner of Martha Steward border punch right now! I've been wanting one of her punches for so long now :)

Since it is the fasting month of Ramadan, I've decided that this week's etsy favs should be something decent but stylish and still, handmade. And I chose shawls as the theme because I love shawls. These Etsy sellers are talented and their products are extraordinary.

1- Simply Gorgeous adult scarf from Mountain Aven Baby. All of her handmade items are made using designer's fabric and therefore looks exquisite. Irresistible!

2 - Rainbow Revolution's silk noil scarf which are hand dyed in my fav color combination.

Stamps Alert

So do you love stamps, or love stamping on your layouts or cards? Well I do, now, after finding out great stamps out there. I am greatly influenced by my sister who loves stamping a lot. She is into card making by the way, and that's why she bought a lot of stamp sets. I don't really care whether it's rubber or clear or foam, mounted or unmounted as long as it is cute, sweet and affordable. :)

So I spent two weeks browsing card designers' blogs to find out what stamp lines or brands they are using and I actually fell in love with these 3 brands. I know there are a lot of existing stamps lines out there by popular brands like 7Gypsies, American Crafts, Hero Arts, Imaginesce and many more. But these 3 are of their own, and they focuses on stamping (but not particularly card making) only.

Stampin' Up

It's the most well known rubber stamp sets company with thousands of demonstrators all around the globe. Unfortunately we can't buy it in stores because these stamps will only be sold in demos held by their demonstrators. I contacted them and due to regulations and such, Malaysia does not have any demonstrators yet and they won't ship/sell their products here.But I want their stamps! How? Maybe I could contact my friends at Australia lah. :)

Papertrey Ink

I love the simplicity of their designs. And they offers many background and border designs which I love so much. Besides their marvelous stamp sets which will be updated every month, they also carries ribbons, papers, inks and tools. Unlike many other stamps, I don't have to color the images - I am so not into painting! And their website is easy to browse too. :)

Flourishes Boutique

This company is quite similar to the other two above and their stamp sets are extraordinary! And you must be good in playing with colors because most of the images could be colored. Flourishes Boutique have their own design team who are versatile and have a long experience in stamping and scrap booking.

Hey all.

This week's download is a small quickpage. Quickpage is a digital layout without the picture(s) and added elements like title and embellishments. That means, to complete a layout all you have to do is to add your own picture and wallah! You could also add your personal touch to the layout by adding embellishment and title and a lil bit of journaling to your layout.

I made this layout for my APC picture. I decided to keep it simple because the picture is quite formal, and he's our DPM who was handing me the scroll. :)

For this layout, I use paper 14, paper 6, postal mark 2, sheer ribbon 2 from the Brown Paper Packages kit by Yin Designs. Her kit is marvelous and beautifully designed with my fav color - brown. This kit is an old retired kit (not downloadable anymore) downloaded at GDS. Hop over to her blog if you want to see more of her products.

So, I've been thinking that it is easy to use Microsoft Word (or any other word processor) to create labels. You could use labels on envies, in journal and card making, as tags and many other things as well.

New Layout and New Blog Direction

I've changed my layout this morning. A neat interface with my current fav color - green. I also added one more column to facilitate my link lists. Do comment this new layout will ya?

Ribbons and Buttons Hunting

Hi all. I intend to upload my swap pictures but I couldn't find my camera. God I totally forgot where I put it. I hope it's somewhere at my workstation back in the office. I have to buy a new one if I lost that one :( I've been using it since 2003 .

Just want to share that I bought a few yards of ribbons and buttons the other day. After a few days of running low on good ribbons, and after online hunting. These online shops are crazy, they are selling those ribbons at unreasonable price! And it is hard to find craft shops in Bangi, so I have to go to few places before I found these.

Is This A Newbie Blog?

Of course it is!

Although I've been blogging for quite some time now, I am still a newbie in scrapbook world. And also new in swap-bot.com. :)

That was why I created this blog to cater my scrapbook and swapping addiction. I write my personal blog in Malay - my mother's tongue, so it might be difficult for international readers to understand them. Not all of us know how to use Google Translator, plus I haven't install it in my blog yet :) Yeah, the main point of why creating a whole new blog for scrapping and swapping stories.

There are no specific blog mission whatsoever, but all I want to do is to share some information on my two newest addictions with my beloved readers, and readers-to-be. Most of the time I will post all my swap stories and layouts and cards that I've created, challenges I've joined and where I get my resources, and how I do this and that. Not forgetting the handmade pledge I took some time last year.

But after reading this entry, I think I do need a blog mission, I mean officially. First, this blog shares and promotes info regarding my addictions : scrapbook and swapping at swap-bot.com, and both are handmade. Except digital scrapping lah. Thus, in short, my blog mission is

To promote handmade items especially everything on scrapbooking and share all swaps done at swap-bot.com.

Alamak, so simple eh? Maybe I should consult someone else. Yes, I should.

Speed Card Making & Lace Alert

Hello All.

Last weekend my sister and I did some handmade cards for her project. More than 10 blank handmade cards were made and we sure had a lot of fun - and a lot of mess !

Here are my takes. I love the mini russian doll cards, gonna make some more afterwards. Also going to stock up my laces, trims and ribbons.

Talking about laces, I want to share a few lace-inspired items I found while browsing the net. And these are really gorgeous stuff, only if I could order them. I don't have paypal :( :(

Papier Blog Contest

Oh oh am excited when I found out that Papier Love is organizing a contest and the prizes are DT kits worth RM200 and a chance to be a Guest DT!

All I have to do is make one new layout and a matching card! Isn't that simple? Not that I have a chance in winning but at least the drive to do a layout is there already. :) Hope my mojo is back so that I could start immediately after dinner later tonight.

Current and Past Swaps

Guilty for abandoning this blog for a while.

Just want to post pictures of my last swap and the current one.

When posting swaps, I usually will write on a memo pad a short note of the swap and on the things I sent. But this swap is so interesting, so catchy that I immediately signed up upon reading it. We are required to make a "business card" so that our partners could use them later. Only 5 pcs, but since I designed them digitally, I made 2 sets of business cards for each of my partners.

These two cards were made for the international handmade card challenge but I believe I'm overdue. Don't know whether I am still qualified but will still send these two cards to the host. :) I love the citrus card more, never use felt as embellishment before. But I love scenic route pp so I made the second card. :)

I've Had Enough

I'm done with public swap. I was flaked by more than 3 users, not including non-raters. Grrr!!! Now I will only join group swaps, and really really interesting public swap - like craft supplies swap. Sorry but after spending $$ and did the best for my partners, I get nothing in return. :p

Anyway, right now I love everything Scenic Route. I bought 2 sets of their kit and heart these chip circles pictured above. Sangat-sangat suka. I love scenic route for their colors which mostly in pastel. Not too shabby for me. :)

Hello all. I hope you're doing fine. It's very hot here in my country, and last week my son was down with fever. He has thalassemia minor, so taking care of him during that time was.. exhausting.

And I finished all 3 swaps last week. One on handmade spring cards (I did wrote about this before) and the other two on blogs.

Comments on Craft/Design Blogs

This is the best swap I've joined in 2010 so far. We get 20 partners, and we have to write at least 5 comments on their craft blogs. At first I thought this is easy, but after going through the first 3 blogs, I found out that this is not an easy swap. In order to comment on one's blog, I do not only have to read the current post, but also have to figure out her nature of writing and what craft is she doing. Then only I could write nice and relevant comments.

And to my surprise, most of my partners have really established craft blogs. Some of them even have etsy store. So imagine me, a beginner compared to them. But it is a great exposure. Most of them offers tutorials, giveaways (I heart) and crafts that I've never tried. I am following all of them and still read some of them.

More than One Blog: BLOGGER SWAP

This swap is similar to the swap above, except I was assigned with 5 partners and I only have to be either a follower or drop a comment in their blog. Most of my partners were already in the swap above so I have no problem with that.

It's spring again!

The thing I like about spring (although I'm in a summer-all-year country) is .. the colors of spring. Pastel colors. And of course, spring reminds me of.. spring cleaning, which I haven't done yet. :p

Back to pastel colors. I need to do some spring-themed cards for my swap. While using Google Search I found this pastel palette.

Nice, isn't it? Soft and sweet colors, and I might use this colors for my swap project tonight. Hope I'd be able to finish all cards though. I have to visit a friend who was hospitalized first. It will be a late night for me :)

Before leaving, there is a site I found that you must visit. Deck Chair Stripes which features all stripes things including cushion, mats and towels. If only I could find those items here. :)

Giveaways. It's a trend among Malaysian bloggers nowadays. I myself did a couple last year. Such fun!

If you are a budget scrapper like me, you probably want the best storage solutions without burning a hole in your pocket. I mean, there are everyday stuff that's really cheap but we often overlook them. Here is the list of (very) cheap storage solution that I personally compile for you.

Stackable Jars

Stackable jars come in various sizes and colors. Pictured above are clear screw jars and is suitable for storing embellishments such as eyelets, mini brads and photo anchors. Available in market are metal jars, plastic jars and glass jars. Just choose which one suits your type and wallah! Mostly sold in hardware shops and scrapbook shops (refer Suggestions for links).

Storage Box

A more popular choice is this compartment box. As low as RM3.90 you could buy a small compartment box. I personally love this because I can color-coded my embellishments, an ease when 'scanning' for a suitable color to use with my pp or what not. And it's way cheaper than stackable jars.

Plastic Containers

Cheapest so far. You can get like a dozen for less than RM5 right? Store anything you like from flowers to buttons to rhinestones to wooden mini clips and many more. You could buy them at any hypermarket and pasar borong.

Scrap-It-Lah November Challenge

A few SIL phrases came in my mind like Sing It Loud, So In Love, Saat Ini Lagi etc. Finally I found this picture of my 3 children fooling around with cute faces. So funny that all of a sudden the word stooges popped out and there it goes - Stooges I Love.

I use everything from stickles to thickers to paper lace and die cuts to embellish this LO. And here's the final layout.

First Cybercrop Session @ Srapping Glitz

Mich organized a cybercrop session last Friday at SG forum. I totally forgot about it because I was kinda busy - there was no water supply for 2 days despite numerous complaints to Syabas.

And then I have to send my mum to Kajang. When I got back home around 10, there were a few girls already playing along.

There are 2 assignments to be made. I did what I did with limited resource - I am out of cs and good pics and my stamps are all for card making only. Hehe

Challenge 1:

1) You must incorporate the colour BLUE.
2) Must use buttons
3) Must use stamps

My Take:

I use blue cs, buttons from MM and stamped at the corner of my photo. Border stamp, tak nampak sangat :)

Challenge No 2:

1) Journalling
2) At least 2 pictures - if you wish to use more - pls feel free
3) 3 types of paper - pls mix wither cardstock with patterned paper
3) At least 2 types of embellishments - anything, ribbons, buttons, chipboards etc

My Take:

I use pics of Fahim during my office's family day. Bubble stickers bought through ebay and mm pp. Also flower embellishment from.. err.. forgot lah. :P

But

I WON in the second challenge! Yeay! So excited I didn't touch the ground. I won RM50 voucher this time, plus RM100 from the previous challenge, I have RM150 in hand. Will shop at SG today!

Color Blocking

Color blocking is another technique of scrapbooking your layout. As Jen put it in her article in Scrapjazz,

When I think of color blocking, the first thing that comes to mind is creating blocks of colors (thus the name) most commonly cut into squares and mounting a photo in the center. Of course, this is a simple, classic technique that always works. In reality, the blocks don't have to be square and they can be made from solid paper, patterned paper or any combination thereof. You can cut them any size you want and place them in any direction you choose. In fact, you can make as many blocks as you want. It's all up to you.

In a challenge at Lovescrap forum, we were asked to produce LOs using color blocking technique. So I came up with these digi LOs.

Scrapping Glitz 2nd Challenge

Remember I have to come up with the most creative way of using the kit I mentioned in this post? The challenge I participated at Scrapping Glitz?

Well, I made 2 LOs and a hanging frame. Pity that I left the frame in my office, will load the pic later. But here's my take.

LO about me. My first LO about me, myself and I. So I use my childhood pictures. All are there. Transparencies, ribbons, rhinestones, pp, kaiser flowers, MM button. I think this is the first 'semak' LO I made. :)

Second LO, on baby Fahim (again). Initial layout lain, bila dah buat jadi lain. I dunno, I think something is wrong with the small picture but couldn't figure out what.

Coin and Stamp Swap

I joined another swap, this time a simple swap. Just have to swap coins and stamps. I intended to include first day envelope also but unfortunately Pos Putrajaya didn't have it.

So I made a card with a small envie inside to put all the coins and stamps in. And already posted all four. Some of them already received my package. And these swappers wrote really nice comments in my profile. Thanks guys sooo much!

Arrived At Last!

Remember this post when I wrote that I won a contest @ Scrapping Glitz?

My prize arrived today, Kaiser paper flower, in pink color. Sweet sweet color. Gosh loved it!!

Also came in the package is the kit for Challenge 2 in Scrapping Glitz. It contains

1) 3 double sided pattern paper
2) 3 pieces of die cuts
3) 3 different style of ribbon (each style is 1 yard in length)
4) 1 overlay

Basically we have to come up with the most creative LO or altered item using this kit. Only 6 person are eligible to enter so... hmmmm have to prove to myself that I am a good SBer. I have several ideas in hand, only 1 involving an LO. The other 3 are altered stuff. Now after belek² this kit I know what I wanna do with this kit.

I entered a blind scrapping challenge at ScrappingGlitz forum. It was fun because thye challenge was organized to celebrate their opening and it was their first one.

All contestants were prized with Kaiser's products. I got myself paper flower. Loved it coz flowers is one of my fav embellishment. Ya la, I still dunno how to emboss, chalking, distressing etc.

The challenge:

The MUST have list in your LO:

1 x cardstock

2 x flowers cut out from pattern paper

2 x different set of alphabets

1 x small arrow

1 x button

2 x other embellishments of your choice

LO above was made within 3 days. I don't have any idea what to do and what picture to scrap. But at last I did it!

June Scrap For Friends

A long month, packed with kenduris and such. And this 'Scrap For Friends' challenge by Fliffy at Lovescrap Forum.

My partner is Yatie, so I have to do an LO for Yatie and in return Yatie will do one for me.

This is what I did for Yatie using her Nadiah dearie daughter's pic.

I modified the photo Yatie sent using Photoshop and I really like the way it turned out... pipi Nadiah sangat chubby.. geram nak cubit!

And this what Yatie did for me using Fahim's pic.

My jaw dropped. Such a lovely stunning beautiful 5 star LO from Yatie. She's always such a creative girl but seeing Fahim in action, I just couldn't believe it. Hugs to Yatie.

It really make my day a lot merrier.

Making a freebie is so much fun!!!!!! Kinda addicted lah. This time around, I am using Rock-A-Bye Baby kit from GG Digital Designs. Although I've seen the same paper elsewhere, it doesn't stop me from admiring the kit, especially the color. I love green and brown!

I wish I could go back to 1985 when I was 6 so that I could finish my kindergarden, but I already know how to read and write. Cancel.

Then, I wish I could go back to 1996 (17 yo) so that I could study harder and get better aggregates in SPM. Masa ni sibuk bercinta and only managed to get 19 agg. :( Application to a certain U was rejected. But then again, SPM is not the ticket to success so cancel lagi.

No plan to go back to 1998 - the year I wed my beloved #1.

Wooohoooooo!!!

Bought some things from Azah and eager punya pasal, I did one simple LO and one mini book using Urban Cut.

The result? Taraaaaaaaaaa.....

Created this mini book using B&W urban cut paper. Now its in my handbag and I'll bring it wherever I go. Need to make another one for #1 la.. to remind him that he already has 4 people depending their life on him. :)

It took me around 4 hours to finish this one but I think its lovely and super cute.

Since lil sis is still on her second page of baby mini book, I made another greenish LO for Fahim. Sorry lah picture taken using this Nokia is not so good.

I had fun. Paper scrapping is more fun! Just look at the mess we made.

It was not long after I joined lovescrap forum when I discovered about shops that sell scrapping materials. I mean... real materials. I did browsed the Net to find online stores that sell puncher and all but none of them are in Malaysia. Then I discovered lovescrap. And the rest is history.

Cuti yang panjang - from Thursday dihabiskan dengan mencari barang-barang scrapbook. And I forked out nearly RM 500 buying things yang belum aku gunakan. Kebetulan pula hujung minggu lepas merupakan National Scrapbook Day jadi semuanya buat sale dan potongan harga runtuh. Ah.. sebagai seorang wanita yang lemah imannya, aku pun beli dan beli dan kemudian bila cek baki akaun bank barulah nak menggelabah.

Dari Parkson Alamanda ke Parkson KLCC, kedai buku MPH dan Czip Lee, ScrappingVille BSC hinggalah lovescrap online store, dan Jusco Mid Valley, aku singgah dan beli barang scrapbook. gila weh.. macam orang pregnant nampak baju baby. Semua nak beli.

#1 gerun tengok aku sekarang.. coz masuk kedai baby shopping sakan dan bila sampai kedai stationeries n papers aku mengalahkan budak sekolah - yang beli kelengkapan sekolah. Pengsan dia.

Eagle Ranch Resort, Port Dickson

Last weekend we went for a quick getaway at Eagle Ranch Resort, Port Dickson. Its only one and a half hour drive from Bandar Baru Bangi.

The resort is nice, with its cowboy setting and all. There's lotsa activities such as fun kart (bad kart condition!), swimming pool and jacuzzi, horse riding, archery, flying fox, amd much more. I do hope you enjoy the pics!

According to Wikipedia,

Scrapbooking is a method for preserving a legacy of written history in the form of photographs, printed media, and memorabilia contained in decorated albums, or scrapbooks. The idea of keeping printed materials of personal interest probably dates to shortly after the invention of printing. Similarly for photographs. Historically, scrapbooking was a tradition similar to storytelling, but with a visual and tactile, rather than oral, focus.

Scrapbooks that exist completely in digital image form are referred to as "digital scrapbooks," or "computer scrapbooks."

There are many tools to bookscrap. You could use normal digital photo printing (editing) softwares such as PSP or PhotoMix or even Picasa. But it takes much effort if you are a beginner like me. Well, I'm suck in graphics, vector, brushes etc.

Another alternative is by using scrapbooking softwares as listed here. I am using Scrapbook Flair because of its ease of use and huge collections of free downloads (templates, embellishments and such).

I will post digital scrapbooks that I made, tutorials and resources from various websites on the internet just for you (and me).
